The Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress (AOSC) 2023 celebrated a successful return to in-person events with its first physical edition out of the pandemic. The congress took place from 17 – 19 February 2023, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. The congress drew a total of 707 attendees from 37 countries, once again solidifying its reputation as the go-to event for orthodontists in the Asia-Pacific.

The event included a wide range of educational and enrichment opportunities, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and scientific poster presentations. The scientific conference featured a total of 21 sessions, including post-congress workshops. A total of 17 exhibitors and over 100 exhibiting brands showcased the latest trends and products in the orthodontic industry.

AOS President Dr Bryce Lee, welcomes Dr Nikhilesh R. Vaid, WFO President, as the first-ever Honorary Member of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore).

 Our VIP guests and speakers are all dressed up, according to the theme “Floral Fantasy”.

Dr. Koo Chieh Shen, Chairperson of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress 2023, commented, “We are delighted with the outcome of the AOSC 2023 and we extend our gratitude to all our attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors and look forward to providing more opportunities for dental professionals to reconnect in the future. The AOSC Welcome Reception was held at Hopscotch Gardens by The Bay on the first night and the AOS Gardens by The Bay Run on the second day morning were particularly popular, with all slots fully subscribed. These events provided ample opportunities for attendees to network and socialize, rounding up their conference experience with fond memories and new connections.

Dr. Bryce Lee, President of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), added, "The AOSC was an excellent event that provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge amongst dental professionals. We were thrilled to see the high level of engagement and participation from the delegates. This is a testament to the importance of continuing dental education. We also had a great opportunity to network amongst fellow professionals, after a lapse of 4 years. This event augurs well for our profession and we look forward to the next edition of the AOSC in 2025.”
