It’s been 20 years since Mongolian Association of Orthodontists, one of the first-born professional communities in Mongolia has been established. In the past years, we have been able to introduce and stabilize the modern trends and techniques in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment to our country and carry out major research projects. Moreover, by nurturing and expanding international networking, we became a member of Asia-Pacific Orthodontic Society and World Orthodontic Society and have gained global recognition
In this conference, doctors, instructors and lecturers from Japan, USA, Taiwan and South Korea are invited as guest speakers. First presentation was delivered by Prof.Tzong-Guang Peter Tsay from USA, his topic was “What can we learn from problem cases (We created)”. Dr.Yutaka Takeuchi from Japan presented on the topic of “Advantages and disadvantages of the Damon system”, Prof.Naoto Suda from Japan also shared his experience under the topic of “Orthodontic treatment having difficulty in tooth movement”. Prof.Kitae Park from South Korea, his topic was “Class III treatment scenario”. Prof.Johnson Hsin-Chung Cheng from Taiwan talked about “Trend in Surgical Orthodontics for Skeletal Class III Malocclusions and smile changes-Surgery first or Orthodontic first”. Dr.Kelvin Wen-Chung Chang from Taiwan presented about “Application of Digital technology in contemporary Orthodontics”. And lastly Dr. Daniel De-Shing Chen from Taiwan also delivered topic of “The Power of Digital Design in Clear aligner therapy”.
Total of 120 active members of MoAO, were participated during the conference from countryside and Ulaanbaatar city.
